We will sleep out in tents on the Boston Common on April 21, to show our commitment for strong leadership in Massachusetts against rapid, catastrophic climate change. We sleep out because our homes are powered by dirty electricity, and we oppose its contribution to the greenhouse effect.
On the morning of April 22 we will walk to the State House and discuss our bill with our representatives. Specifically, we will ask Rep Binienda to release our bill from his House Committee on Rules so that it may be voted on by the rest of the house. We will hold our Climate Courage Award Ceremony. Nancy Banks, Executive Director UU Mass Action will be one of the award presenters.
