UU Mass Action Benefit Concert
featuring Matt Meyer, Fred Small, Justine Sullivan, Jim Scott and Dean Arvidson. This night of amazing folk and world music will be Fri, Sept 24, at 8 p.m. at First Parish in Framingham (UU), live from the folks who brought you gay marriage! Help UUMAN mobilize more UUs for a more just, equitable and compassionate Commonwealth. Advance tickets are $15 adults, $5 children by clicking here, or $20/$10 at the door.   • Vote No in Nov! The MA November ballot includes three ballot questions - Q 1 and 3 aimed at reducing the sales tax and Q 2 that seeks to abolish the affordable housing law (40B). It is not a perfect law, but it is the right incentive to encourage local communities to build affordable housing. Click here for more information.

    We accomplished....

  • Governor Patrick signed the 'Expiring Use' bill on Nov. 30. Thousands of units of affordable housing that were at risk of being converted into market-rate housing may now be preserved for low-income residents. Thanks to the many UUs who called their Senators and Representatives in support of this bill. Click here for more details on this bill.
